When I was a child I did not know that all the comic characters where separated into different companies. I didn't even know Marvel characters where even in the same world. When I did see them interact I figured it was a one time thing. Even though I was a big fan of X-men cartoons, Jim Lee's Flare cards, and the arcade game. I had no clue the X-men were Marvel characters. It was not until Marvel released the Spider-man cartoon series, and slew of other cartoons for their characters that I connected the dots. One thing that brought two things I love together was the X-men: Children of the Atom arcade game. When I saw that at the Six Flags arcade during a field trip I regretted not bring any spending money. The X-men got me into buying comics. Deadpool #2 the circle chase was my first non reprint Marvel comic I purchased. I would not purchase comics regularly between the start of Generation-, and the early 2000s . I had just got my first job so I had disposable income. I decided I wanted to know what happened to the character Deadpool, so I started collecting all of his books. I finished the collection of in 2010, and stopped collecting Deadpool comics after the end of the Daniela run. I got about a dozen of the main series after that but never read them. The art was not to my liking, and Way had ruined the character beyond repair. I drifted away from the Deadpool character, and became a fan of the Taskmaster after discovering him in the UDON created Agent X books. I got all Deadpool's series, and his appearances and books up that point. Including 2 first appearance books since they were so cheap. Along with those books I was reading the New Avengers comics. I loved them, but feel off after the Skrull Invasion. Even though I love the Marvel characters I stopped subscribing to the books. I now frequently pick up random titles that catch my eye, along with paper trades.
